New Online Mental And Physical Wellbeing Community Launches To Tackle Coronavirus Blues

A new online mental and physical wellbeing community, The Anti-Burnout Club, has launched this week to offer on-demand support and advice to the millions of people suffering from poor mental health and loneliness during lockdown. The Anti-Burnout Club’s mission is simple: to help people become a success without all the stress.

A vibrant online community, The Anti-Burnout Club brings together a wealth of support including practical guides, videos, and podcasts to help members cope with burnout and manage the feeling of being overwhelmed. With categories dedicated to body, mind, self-care and success and useful downloads such as healthy habit trackers, it’s an essential resource for those who want to take charge of their wellbeing and succeed on their own times without sacrificing their mental health.

The podcast series is already a roaring success, with the third episode “12 Signs and Symptoms of Burnout” receiving over 1,000 downloads within its first week of being on the air. Other useful topics for listeners include tips on how to stop burnout in its tracks and practical measures to better deal with stress.

The launch of The Anti-Burnout Club comes as the need for online support becomes more pressing than ever. Research shows that clinically diagnosed mental health conditions rose have risen significantly, up from 18.9% in 2018-19 to 27.3% in April 2020, only one month into the country’s first nationwide lockdown. A further study by Open Evidence found that 41% of the UK population’s mental health is now at risk due to COVID-19.

Bex Spiller, a formerly burnt out entrepreneur, mental health campaigner and founder of The Anti-Burnout Club said, “This year has made it clear that it’s more important than ever that we put our mental health at the top of the priority list. So many of us are burning out because of the pandemic. We, as a society, need to have a collective agreement to slow down.”

Subscribers are invited to take part in exclusive online meet ups to tackle loneliness and also receive entry into the Random Act of Kindness, a monthly draw to win a self-care goodie box.

The Anti-Burnout Club is also searching for individuals who can help build the community and contribute personal stories as well as share their coping mechanisms to create an all-inclusive and informative platform for all.
