Millsheds Distillery & Bar Celebrates Rebrand and Medal Success

Millsheds Distillery & Bar, formerly known as Merrigangs Bar & Distillery has unveiled a brand new name and stylish new look as it continues its mission to craft exceptional spirits and memorable experiences.

The refresh comes at an exciting time for the brand as it celebrates its success at the renowned London Spirits Competition and the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC). Wowing judges at both events, Millsheds’ crisp, bright, and herbaceous Southern Dry Gin and Highland Gin, with its romantic, complex taste, both garnered prestigious silver medals. The Highland Gin scored an astounding 93/100 in the IWSC making it the 2nd highest rated Contemporary Gin in NSW and 5th in Australia.

The rebrand to Millsheds Distillery & Bar marks a shift from a live music venue to a premier distillery dedicated to producing high-quality spirits using carefully selected aromatics and native ingredients such as myrtle and pepper berry. With an emphasis on small batch production, the distillery offers engaging tours, interactive cocktail classes, and immersive gin blending experiences. Doing things the old fashioned way, Millsheds aims to give guests a unique and memorable insight into boutique spirit production in the heart of Australia’s oldest wine region.
