The Cold Pod Kickstarter Campaign Receives Full Funding in Record Time

The Cold Pod is a leading name in cold water immersion therapy, but it’s now enjoying red hot success on Kickstarter after its campaign for The Cold Pod Lite Chiller smashed its funding goal in just over 24 hours.

Chris Hillary, Co-Founder and Director of The Cold Pod, said, “We are absolutely thrilled to have reached our funding goal within 26 hours! The incredible support from our backers has been overwhelming, and we’re truly grateful. This milestone is a testament to the passion for cold water therapy shared by our community.”

The Cold Pod Lite Chiller is purpose-built for cold water therapy, and the result of two years of rigorous research and testing. It was created to make cold water therapy more accessible at home, with a 500-litre cooling capacity and lowest temperature of 3°C. Cold water therapy is known to reduce pain and inflammation, relieving sore muscles and improving focus and sleep, bringing down stress levels. The Cold Pod Lite Chiller keeps at home ice baths at the optimal temperature while also helping to keep the water clean and fresh.

The initial £7,500 raised will cover production costs for the first units, as well as costs for all the certifications needed for market release. But even though that target was easily surpassed, the funding campaign is not over yet!

“Now that we’ve hit our initial target, our next goal is to reach £20,000,” says Chris Hillary. “Achieving this will allow us to enhance our production process and further invest in creating the best possible experience for our users. We’re excited to see where this journey takes us!”
