Artisan Spirits Brand Launches Exclusive Micro Batch Range

Artisan Spirits Brand Launches Exclusive Micro Batch Range

A London Vermouth and Bitters producer is celebrating the successful completion of its recent crowdfunding campaign with an exclusive new range of limited edition products and ‘bartender tools’. Asterley Bros, who make artisan spirits including Amaro and Fernet at their Forest Hills workshop in South London, are producing only 50 bottles of their inaugural ‘Unnamed Collection Batch 1’

The launch comes after Asterley Bros raised almost £140,000 through the equity crowdfunding platform Crowdcube, providing them with additional resources to extend their range and develop innovative new products. However, unlike the brand’s Dispense Amaro, Estate Vermouth, and Britannica Fernet, which can be sampled in bars such as Nightjar and Three Sheets, and purchased in Harvey Nichols and Fortnum & Mason, the Unnamed Collection will not be as easy to get hold of. The limited edition micro-batch releases are anticipated to be available only to the bartender community who have supported the brand since its first product launch in 2017.

Asterley Bros Creative Director Joe Schofield said, “Our new ‘Unnamed Collection’ is an opportunity for us to give back to the bartenders who have shown us such incredible support over the last year. Christmas can be a challenging time of year for the hospitality industry and we wanted to give a little something back to the hard working F&B professionals throughout the UK”

“The first release is a cocktail, but each batch will be something completely different. We have some great plans for one-off Vermouths, Eau de vies and Amari to come soon. Each of the batches released will be a one off, never to be repeated, and won’t be available to be purchased. The first in the series features our sweet vermouth, some delicious French brandy, and of course some Christmas pudding. Perfect for this time of year.”

‘Batch 1’ is the first of the limited edition to be released, and showcases a digestif cocktail, infusing the newly launched Seven Tails XO brandy with a whole Xmas pudding and combining with the brand’s Estate English Vermouth and Britannica Fernet.

Creative Director Schofield was given the honour of creating Batch 1, drawing upon his extensive experience as one of the world’s leading bartenders. Having worked at internationally renowned bars including The American Bar at The Savoy, and Tippling Club in Singapore, Schofield was awarded both International Bartender of the Year at the Tales of the Cocktail Spirit Awards and Bartender’s Bartender at The World’s 50 Best Bars in 2018. He currently holds the record for being the only person ever to have won both awards.

While the Unnamed Collection won’t be available in bars or stores, anyone wanting to sample some of the brand’s other creations, including their Amaro, Vermouth, and Fernet can shop online at the Asterley Bros website, or visit an approved local stockist.
