New naturally inspired jewellery line encapsulates the feel of the beach thanks to organic materials and familiar lines

Inspirational jewellery designer, Dee by Diana has debuted a unique new collection which celebrates the inspirational role of nature. The unique new collection uses sand and plated gold, harnessing the blissful sensation of sandy feet and beachy days in six exquisite pieces.

Sand encompasses necklaces, earrings, a brooch and ring – each inspired by a natural phenomena and crafted to elevate the humble grain of sand into an elegant piece which connects the wearer with a sense of peace. For those who’ve walked barefoot on the beach or dug their hands into the earth and let grains of sand sift through their fingers, that sense of being at one with nature – an energetic experience known as ‘grounding’ or ‘earthing’- is replicated here, allowing the human body to absorb the earth’s energy through the skin.

Using natural beach sand and materials such as delicate organza and plated gold to create each stunning item of jewellery, Sand evokes memories of walking beside the ocean and feeling the sea breeze refresh your senses.

The seashell like shape created by soft waves of organza in some of the pieces makes a perfect memento of a special holiday or honeymoon whilst the sand is a tangible reminder of wonderful experiences that reconnect the wearer with nature.

“The idea that the wearer can feel that connection with nature and relive happy moments of bygone holiday walks along the beach was a real inspiration for me, and I’m so happy with the final results.”

All of the designs from Dee by Diana are inspired by Mother Earth or nature itself, with raindrops and lunar eclipses in their stunning pieces. The Sand Sea and Gold ring is crafted into the shape of a single, delicate raindrop, which acts as a vessel for a sprinkling of beach sand, while the Sea and Sand Ivory Flower Necklace is a delicate homage to a flower in bloom, each stem holding the sand’s precious cargo.
