Dakota Digital cements agency growth
Three new hires and second office opening mark expansion
East Midlands-based boutique PR and digital agency, Dakota Digital has firmly cemented its growth this week with three new hires and the opening of a second office.
Following on from its rebrand earlier this year, this latest phase of development is part of the agency’s ambitious growth strategy. The three new recruits will be based in Dakota Digital’s Mansfield town centre office.
The first of the new additions is broadcast journalist, Sharon Robson who joins the team as agency relationship manager. Robson has extensive experience creating content for multiple platforms including print, radio, television and online. As a former Regional Reporter for British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS) she has worked alongside command and personnel across the British Army and Royal Air Force, as well as working with clients in both the corporate and charity sectors.
Copywriter Emma Pearson joins Dakota Digital from Tribe in Nottingham. She has extensive B2B and B2C experience and will work across the Dakota portfolio of clients. As a seasoned copywriter, Pearson will bring considerable expertise to the team and will work directly with a number of Dakota Digital’s premium brands.
Magazine journalism graduate, Thomas Bee completes the trio. He will support the copywriting team, specialising in articles, blogging and social media content creation.
In addition to the new hires, Dakota Digital has also opened its second office. The new space will function as a dedicated meeting and conference venue. The unit has been acquired within the same building as the current agency headquarters, giving additional space and purpose-created facilities.
Agency operations director Chris Woods said, “We continue to grow at a very steady rate. To be frank, we just can’t hire people as fast as we’d like to when it comes to filling our full ambitions. Finding hard working talent is a challenge so we’re ecstatic to announce three strong hires at once and to be able to continue offering opportunities to talented graduates. The new office space is testament to our ambition and ensures that we won’t run out of physical space as we continue to put bums on seats to fill the demands of our growing clientele.”
Managing director Rebecca Appleton added, “We’re delighted to have found such talented new team members and are really pleased with our second office. Having dedicated conferencing and meeting space means that we can continue to focus on working in partnership with our clients and growing the agency with new business wins. We have lots of plans in the pipeline and both the new staff and additional space give us the infrastructure we need to continue with our development.”
Earlier this year, the agency completely reinvented itself with a new brand and stylish new site. As a full-service PR and digital marketing agency, Dakota Digital is highly regarded with a diverse portfolio of clients under its remit. In addition to its work with small businesses and entrepreneurs, it also counts household names including Listerine, Benadryl, Neutrogena, Calpol, Acuvue, Sudafed and Aveeno amongst its recent client wins and has worked with England rugby player, James Haskell, pop idol Gareth Gates and TV chef, Damian Wawrzyniak.
